We’re proud to celebrate the impactful role of the SwftPharma (SWPH) and BIOTOOLOMICS (BIOT) in the PHARMECO initiative—an ambitious Horizon Europe project advancing Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) practices in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Together as a key industry partners, SWPH and BIOT bring deep scientific expertise and innovation to the table, particularly in:
🌿 Pilot‑scale protein manufacturing
🏭 Large‑scale production using plant infrastructure
🧪 Innovative low‑energy/low‑solvent resins
⚗️ Agarose bead platform & resin production
SWPH will strongly contribute to Work Package 6, which focuses on the validation of upscaled/pilot SSbD-driven pharmaceutical manufacturing processes regarding sustainability, operational compatibility, and regulatory compliance
BIOT will contribute to Work Package , which focuses on advance greener biomanufacturing practices by integrating innovative technologies, optimizing resource use, and enhancing process control
