We’re proud to celebrate the impactful role of the VTU and Medtronic (SOF) in the PHARMECO initiative—an ambitious Horizon Europe project advancing Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) practices in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Together as a key academic and industry partners, VTU and SOF bring deep scientific expertise and innovation to the table, particularly in:

Their contributions are central to Work Package 5, which focuses on the saving energy and reducing, replacing or re-using water and chemicals in cleaning, disinfection and sterilisation processes while ensuring their efficiency and safety
